Exhibition at Grayshott School 2025

On 25th and 26th May Ludshott Photographic Club held an exhibition of members’ work at Grayshott Primary School. It ran in conjunction with Grayshott Open Gardens weekend, and was visited by a large number of visitors.

A big ‘thank you’ to all of you who helped in some way, be it providing the superb prints, being the meeters and greeters on the two days, and assembling and dismantling the exhibition.

A special ‘thank you’ goes to Steve Littler for his very hard work in creating and organising the event, putting it all together, and making sure it all worked on the day.

 

                                                                                             

                                                                                  

 

Holme School Exhibition 2023

The club held its Biennial Exhibition on Saturday 23nd September 2023 where we had over 100 images which looked splendid displayed on stands in the hall of the Holme School.

In line with previous years we had a number of pupils from the school who were mentored by members of the club over the summer holidays. Having taken their photographs, they each chose 3 on which to carrying out some post production work before their images were mounted for inclusion in the exhibition.

A large team of members soon made swift work of setting up on the Friday before the exhibition, gave their time on Saturday to provide a meet and greet service during the Exhibition and clear up afterwards.

From the proceeds of the raffle and the sale of some of the prints, the Exhibition successfully raised £170 for the school which was presented to Sarah Stevenson the school head at the end of the day.

There was a vote for the Best Print of the Exhibition which was won by school pupil Lottie Carter’s Robber Fly which can be seen below with Grant Dawkin’s Cathedral coming second and a whole host of third equals.

 

                                                  

 
 

LPC Biennial Exhibition 2021

Ludshott Photographic Club held an exhibition at the Holme Junior School in Headley on 25 September.

A general view was that this exhibition, held in the Hall of Holme School Headley, was one of the best ever attended. A team of members led by Diana Grant planned, advertised and executed the exhibition.

We showed over 100 prints, 15 of which were taken by five young ladies from the school who were tutored by 5 members of the club.  Their standard was so high that their prints seamlessly fitted  among those of members.

The exhibition was sponsored by Allglass frameworks and Alert locksmiths of Bordon, which, together with a very well supported raffle of gifts by local businesses, plus a sale of prints, raised just under £400 for school funds.

2019 Photo Exhibition at Holme Primary School, Headley

Our annual exhibition  took place on Saturday 21 September 2019 at the Holme Primary School in Headley. As well as over 100 exhibits from the club members this year, four pupils of the school showed off their photographic prowess.

The pupils have been coached by four club members of the club. They borrowed cameras to photograph subjects of their choice, and the best twelve pictures were selected to be shown with the club’s photographs. A wide range of subjects were chosen by the pupils including Waggoners Wells, Adrian Blyth’s luxury sports cars, School Life, and the Bordon Enclosure. The children selected their own photographs and helped with the printing and mounting and the choosing of tiles.

The exhibition was well attended, and the raffle made £70 for school funds. Refreshments were on sale outside the hall in the beautiful September sunshine.

LPC Exhibition June 2018 St Lukes Church Rooms

This year we held our biennial exhibition in St Luke’s church rooms. Several visitors expressed an interest in joining after seeing the prints displayed on our boards.  Thanks go to Brian Thomas for organising it, and to the helpers who put up the boards, hung the prints and organised publicity and refreshments.

Visitors voted for their favourite print. The winners were:
